PostScan Mail monthly pricing
PostScan Mail currently lists three core monthly plans. Pricing may vary by location, but the published incoming-mail, scan and recipient allowances are standardized.

Starter isn't really a scanning plan. If you need mail contents opened regularly, every scan request on Starter is an additional charge. Standard or Premium may be cheaper in actual use.
Annual plans are more than just a discount
PostScan Mail currently advertises annual plans at the equivalent of two months free, but the published annual plans also show higher included allowances than their monthly counterparts.

That makes the annual Standard and Premium plans especially interesting for users who already know they'll keep the service for a full year.
Mail scanning
PostScan Mail scans the outside of incoming mail and packages so you can see what arrived. You can then request an open-and-scan to read the contents remotely.
Monthly Starter includes no open-and-scan requests, Standard includes 5 and Premium includes 10. Current annual Standard and Premium plans advertise 10 and 20 respectively.
An additional open-and-scan request costs $2 for an envelope up to 10 pages, then $0.25 for each additional page.
Compared with Traveling Mailbox: Traveling Mailbox Basic currently includes 35 scanned pages for $15/month, so PostScan Mail isn't our first pick when frequent content scanning is the main goal.

Mail forwarding
PostScan Mail allows multiple mail items to be bundled into a single forwarding shipment.
The current handling fee is $2 for the first item + $0.50 for each additional item, plus the actual shipping cost.
So forwarding five pieces together would produce a $4 handling fee before postage: $2 for the first item plus four additional items at $0.50 each.
Consolidation matters. If you receive mail regularly, fewer larger shipments usually make more sense than forwarding items one at a time.
Physical mail and package storage
On monthly mailbox plans, PostScan Mail currently includes the first 14 days of mail storage at no charge. Annual plans extend free mail storage to 30 days.
After that, envelope storage costs $0.05 per envelope per day.
Package storage is more restrictive: the current monthly plan includes the first 3 days free, while annual plans include 7 days. After the free period, storage is $0.10 per pound per day.
Don't use it as a warehouse. If large packages sit for long periods, weight-based storage charges can add up quickly.
Local pickup
PostScan Mail includes local mail and package pickup at your subscribed location.
That makes it attractive for someone who wants a digital mailbox when traveling but still wants the ability to collect originals in person when they're back in town.
Check deposits: an important limitation
PostScan Mail currently states that it does not offer check deposit services.
If receiving paper checks is an important part of your business or personal workflow, this is a meaningful disadvantage compared with providers such as Traveling Mailbox and iPostal1.
Business users: don't assume a provider can deposit checks simply because it scans mail. If check deposits matter, choose a service that specifically supports them.
Address selection
PostScan Mail currently advertises more than 1,000 mailing addresses across the U.S. and internationally.
That's not as large as iPostal1 or Anytime Mailbox, but it's still a substantial network and gives PostScan Mail much broader geographic choice than providers built around a smaller set of centralized addresses.
Is PostScan Mail good for a small business?
It can be. PostScan Mail supports professional street addresses, multiple recipients, forwarding, secure online access and local pickup.
It also offers higher-volume business and enterprise plans for companies processing substantially more mail.
PostScan Mail currently advertises Registered Agent service as well, which may be useful for businesses operating in supported jurisdictions.
Verify address acceptance. A virtual mailbox address isn't automatically accepted by every bank, state agency, licensing authority, Google Business Profile or other organization.

Positive feedback often mentions convenience, helpful local staff and straightforward mail management. Negative reviews tend to focus on individual-location delays, scan quality, customer-support responsiveness or unexpected add-on costs.

Our recommendation: if you intend to read physical mail online regularly, compare Standard first rather than automatically choosing Starter. If you're comfortable paying annually, the annual Standard and Premium plans currently include more scans and recipients than the month-to-month versions.
