Keep customer and vendor correspondence separate from your residence.
View envelopes, request scans and forward physical items without driving across San Diego.
Useful for frequent travel, temporary assignments and relocations.
A commercial mailing address can reduce how often customers and vendors see your residence.
A virtual mailbox can be useful for routine business mail, but California distinguishes entity street addresses, mailing addresses and the agent for service of process.
The California Secretary of State says an individual agent must reside in California and have a physical California street address. A corporation serving as agent must be a registered corporate agent qualified with the Secretary of State.
Commercial mail receiving agencies generally require USPS Form 1583 and identity verification before receiving mail for you.
A notary is not always required by USPS. The current process permits real-time physical or virtual witnessing by the CMRA owner, manager, or authorized employee, or acknowledgment before a U.S.-commissioned notary.

Downtown, Miramar, Point Loma, Hillcrest, Clairemont and Scripps Ranch are very different drives.
Pickup fees can vary even within the same provider. If you receive packages, check package charges before choosing.
A mailbox is useful for mail management but may not satisfy every California filing, licensing or banking requirement.
Current options start around $9.99 per month at some iPostal1 and Anytime Mailbox locations. Traveling Mailbox lists its San Diego premium address from $19.95 per month, while one PostScan Mail Miramar Road location starts at $15 per month.
Not automatically. An individual agent must reside in California with a physical California street address, or the business can use a registered corporate agent qualified with the Secretary of State.
Not always. Follow the exact verification process required by your mailbox provider.
